This course has 45 hours with lab. It is an interdisciplinary health
science subject focusing on movement, physical activity, and its effects on our
overall well-being. It covers three major areas of study in biomechanics,
musculoskeletal anatomy, and neuromuscular physiology. Other areas will also be
discussed including sport psychology, motor movement, motor control, sports
history, and sports sociology.
This course is required for the "Certificate of Science for Healthcare
Providers."
